The TheraMon® Software
The TheraMon® software enables a lot of various functions.
Most important, this software shall enable the dentist/orthodontist to see within one short eyebeam the real wearing time of the brace, further features enable various investigations of the collected data.
Parameters stored in the transponders memory also inform about the actual status of the transponder itself (wearing time, battery status, etc.)
Software-Updates:
Via internet it is possible to update TheraMon® software once in a while. Ongoing implementations of additional features can be downloaded free of charge.
Data-backup:
Anonymous wearing data can be saved optionally onto a faillsafe server. This should prevent from data loss due to a harddisk or PC failure in the doctors office. In such case, own generated data can be resumed from this server. It is not possible to download data of other users !
Each single transponder has a unique serial number. In case somebody looses the braces, the braces must be send to the national TheraMon® supplier who can track the original receiver of this particular transponder which will either be a dentist/orthodontist or dental lab. Dental labs can track the dentist/orthodontist and this one again can find the matching patient from his own and very secretely kept patient data. Therefor lost braces can be returned to the patient by only following this procedure.
Data privacy:
The entire collecting data beeing stored can be matched to physical persons only by the treating dentist/orthodontist. There is no personal information of the patient stored onto the transponder.This way we can assure, that no missuse of private data can happen. Data privacy and protection with TheraMon® is self-evident !
