TheraMon® for dentists and orthodontists
Beeing a dentist or orthodontist you only require a TheraMon® reader. Connect the reader via USB port to you doctors office PC. Install the enclosed MS Windows® based TheraMon® software, this is done by an automatic installation routine. In case of problems ask your local TheraMon® distribution partner for assistance.
To read the transponder data you need to position the brace with the inplemented transponder in parallel to the antenna of the reader. As soon as the Start-button turns to green, you can start the readout. A few seconds later a graph of the real wearing time since your last examination of this particular brace is displayed on the monitor. Further you can inspect the accumulated wearing time since the start of the treatment. The software enables you to various examinations of the retrieved data, more detailed information is supplied in the operator´s guide or can be explained by your local TheraMon® distribution partner. A more detailed manual is supplied with the enclosed memory stick. Additional information, drivers for the reader, a product video and technical documentation can be found.
If you are running a network in your doctors office, you can use more than one TheraMon® reader too. If required, an additional reader can be supplied from your local TheraMon® distributor.
If you want to implement TheraMon® into your network, TheraMon® software supplies standardized file formats to do so. The implementation itself has to be done by your local service engineer servicing your network.
